Ron has done several jobs for us over the past couple of years, the most recent was at our house in Wrentham where we had carpet laid in an office and bedroom plus vinyl fitted in a bathroom.
The reasons we use Ron include:
1. We like Ron’s character, he is great at front of house, the life and sole of his shop making customers at ease;
2. He is also very organised running his busy operation to a timetable putting the customer first.
3. The floor coverings and fitting are good quality and the price is competitive, and

I would like to commend Ron Smith and his team of fitters for their service.
I have never used Ron for carpets before but I have every intention of using him again in the future.
After telling Ron what sort of carpet we were looking for, he not only sourced it for us at a great price, he also stored it until our decorator had finished painting and fitted it quickly whilst we were out at work resulting in little or no disruption to our hectic lives.
All the old carpet was removed from the premises and everything was left clean and tidy.

We wanted new carpets in our bedrooms and hall.
We contacted Ron at The Carpet Shop who was most helpful with his advise. He found the perfect colour for us at the perfect price.

After the redecoration of one of my customer’s lounge I was asked by them if I knew a carpet fitter, I gave them Ron of The Carpet Shop’s card. I was back on the same job a week or so after to look at redecorating a bedroom so I followed up to see how they got on at the Carpet Shop.
The response I got was how pleased they were with Ron at the shop and his advice on the colour of carpet that would go best with the sample of new wallpaper that they had taken into the shop.
This Tuesday 21st May 2013 I was back to redecorate the bedroom and was told that the new carpet was to be fitted that day.
I would personally like to say that Ron’s fitter was a credit to him and his business. His fitter ticked all the right boxes in someone you would want in your home.
Arrived around the agreed time, Well Presented, Polite, Got on with the job with no fuss, And most of all on this particular job very OAP friendly
After the job was done my customer was very happy with the price, quality of carpet and the excellent fitting.
In the first instance Ron was prepared to carry out the work straight away on the Friday of the referral, but as it was, the fitting was arranged for early morning the following Wednesday, with the fitters turning up well on time.
The fitting of the carpet was carried out expertly, quickly and tidily and looked excellent on its completion. The service was also provided at a very good price.
